Our first wedding of 2020 saw us return to the beautiful Warwickshire venue Blackwell Grange. Set in gorgeous countryside this is a popular exclusive-use venue full of character and charm. Yiling and David fell in love with the place so chose it for their special day. We had the extended team together as we were working with Ben from BRS Videography again. 🙂
Kev and I were meeting up with the couple to capture each of them getting ready. Yiling had her bridesmaids and her Mum with her in The Potting Shed which is the dedicated bridal changing room. We had the pleasure of seeing Becca from B’s Beauty who was doing make up and Sian Redmond who was doing hair styling.
Kev greeted David when he arrived. The guys had suits from Warwicks in Northampton and all looked very smart.
Flowers can be so important to a couple on their wedding day. They had chosen Suzanne Evetts from Southam for the bouquets and floral displays and everything looked beautiful.
The ceremony took place in the Thatch Barn with the ladies from Warwickshire Registration Services conducting. There were some lovely readings by guests and once the words were spoken and the register signed it was outside for confetti. Although it was cold it was a beautiful day with blue skies and sunshine so we were able to get photographs outside.
The guests were then called into the Orchard Barn for the wedding breakfast. It looked lovely with decor from Balloon Bazaar along with more flowers from Suzanne. Speeches followed the meal and there was then a little time for us to get some of our signature lit shots using some of the features of the venue before we headed back inside for the evening which started with the cutting of the cake which was from The Cakery in Leamington Spa.
The room had been turned around for the evening and some fantastic lighting put in place by another of our recommended suppliers Rob Lawes Entertainments who was also doing the disco.
A beautiful day with lovely people around us. We can’t not mention the fabulous Lucy too. She made sure everything at the venue went to plan and it is always great working with her. Check out a few of the photos from the day. To see more or to order prints with a discount code contact Yiling or David as they have the password to their gallery.
