One of our last weddings of 2019 was back at the wonderful Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire. It is always such a pleasure to photograph there and none more so than when you are photographing a couple you have known for quite a few years through other family weddings.

Daisy had hair and make up done at Mack Hair Salon in Rugby by Demi and Michelle. She then arrived at the venue with her bridesmaids and Mum to continue getting ready. She had a stunning dress from Wed2B with alterations having been done by Gina. Kev was with Darren while he was getting ready with his ushers. He had a suit from House of Cavani in Birmingham.

Tanice was looking after the couple and their guests. It was lovely to see her again. All the team at Dodmoor are so attentive. It was soon time for the ceremony which was conducted by our friends at Northamptonshire Registration Services. Daisy walked across the courtyard with her Dad and holding gorgeous flowers by Julie Anna Flowers. Darren was patiently and nervously waiting for his bride. The ceremony was lovely. The couple’s 5 year old nephew was best man and did a great job of presenting the rings. Nice moment for us too as we photographed the best man as a newborn!!

After the ceremony we were able to grab a group shot on the steps before the guests headed in for drinks and music by Flo and B. We took advantage of the break in the weather to do some couple photos before everyone made their way into the other barn for the wedding breakfast with food from Portfolio Events.

After the meal we had some wonderful speeches. There were lots of tears! The Best Man was awesome too!

Before the evening celebrations started the newly weds cut the fab cake made by Auntie Caroline and cousin Bella and then it was dancing to 1 Entertainments.

It was so good to see lots of people we knew from the previous weddings we have photographed. Thanks to the team at Dodmoor for an awesome job yet again. Take a look at a few of the many photos from the day. Daisy and Darren have a password and discount code for prints for their gallery if you want to see more.
