Such a pleasure to be back at Ashton Lodge Country House in Warwickshire to photograph the wedding of Charlotte and Jonathan. Ashton Lodge is an exclusive-use venue set in gorgeous countryside and, if the weather isn’t great, it is beautiful inside too.

The venue has recently added a bridal changing area so that was where I met up with Charlotte who was having her hair styled by Brien Harrison and make up was being done by Hannah Atkins. She had a stunning dress from Dress me Pretty in Hinckley. During the morning flowers were delivered by Petals of Narborough and Bunting and Willow did a brilliant job of dressing the venue as always.

Jonathan had chosen to get ready with the guys in the honeymoon suite so Kev captured some lovely shots of the preparations including some super cute ones of Daddy and Son.

The ceremony was conducted by our friend, Catherine of the Warwickshire Registration Service and then we were lucky enough to be able to make our way outside for confetti, group photos and some couple portraits before the rain started again.

Before we knew it the time had come for the wedding breakfast in the pavilion. Speeches! Well there wasn’t a dry eye in the house…including me. Then it was time to eat the wonderful meal prepared by The Chopping Block.

We had a little window of opportunity in some very light rain to do a sparkler shot with the couple’s closest friends and then the party started. Even before the first dance the dance floor was full. You could just tell it was going to be an awesome night with music by The Atlantics. Oh and of course we have to mention the cake which was by Megan Richards.

Huge thanks to Melanie and the wonderful team at Ashton Lodge for making sure everyone had the perfect day. Check out a few of the photos from the day.To see more contact Charlotte or Jonathan for the password and discount code for prints.
