We recently had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Jade and Ryan at The Milling Barn in Hertfordshire, somewhere that we hadn’t been to before. We always love photographing for the first time at a venue. When booking your wedding photographer remember an experienced professional won’t have a problem with photographing anywhere! 🙂 We met Jade and Ryan as a result of us being recommended to them by a family member and we were so happy to be part of their special day.

On the day we knew the weather wasn’t going to be kind. We were expecting rain most of the day and the winds were really strong which was entertaining at times but it didn’t stop us from capturing in photos the relationship that Jade and Ryan have and capturing all the memories of the day, some of which couples don’t actually remember until they look back on their photographs.

So I started my day at the venue which has a dressing room for the bride and her party. Jade had Chanel from Hair FX doing hair and family friend Jade Holland doing make up. There was a great atmosphere throughout the morning with lots of laughter which continued for the day. Flowers arrived from The Flower Hut.

Kev was with Ryan and his groomsmen at home getting ready. His suit was from Moss Bros. He had a lovely surprise in the morning when a red Ferrari turned up which was his transport to the venue.

Jade put on her dress from Wed2B and looked stunning in it. Both her son and her Dad were blown away when they walked into the dressing room to see her.

The ceremony was much like the rest of the day, full of laughter! Slight change of plan with the rings (yep Ryan forgot them!) but someone was sent off to get them and we did a ceremonial exchanging of rings during the couple photos! That was a first.

Throughout the ceremony and the drinks reception there was music from Piano DJ. We did manage to get outside for photos which was great as there are some lovely areas. Then it was time to make their way in for the wedding breakfast which was provided by our friends at the Chopping Block.

It was soon time for the evening to start with the cutting of the magnificent cake from Daniella’s Home Bakery and then we had the first dance with music by the Piano DJ followed by a lovely Dad and Daughter dance.

A great day and we were made to feel so welcome. Here are a selection of photos from the day. To see more contact Jade or Ryan for the password and discount code for their gallery.
