We have been recommended photographers at Stanbrook Abbey since 2012 when it first became a venue having been converted from a convent when the Nuns relocated to a brand new building in North Yorkshire. It is a fantastic building and as you can imagine has amazing opportunities for photographs. The latest couple to marry there and choose us as their photographers were Becky and Steve.

Stanbrook Abbey has a house which brides can book the night before the wedding so they can get ready there on the day. Becky chose this option and had her bridesmaids, Mum and Nan with her along with Joanne’s Hair and Beauty and Beauty by Fortunate who were doing hair and make up. Becky’s gorgeous Essense of Austrailia dress was from Wedding Belles of Four Oaks.

The groom also has a special area to get ready, the groom’s room. Kev met up with Steve and his groomsmen there are captured photos of the guys’ preparations.

During the morning flowers were arriving from Floral Roundabout and the venue was being dressed by our friends at The Secret Garden. Everyone looked amazing. Oh and a special mention to Becky who did all the fabulous signage.

The ceremony was in the Callow Hall, which used to be the chapel. Becky walked down the aisle with her Mum to music by Leo’s Strings.

We made our way across to the pavilion area once the vows had been said and rings exchanged where the Stanbrook team were waiting with drinks. We had a little rain shower but nothing that stopped us being able to get back out for photographs before the guests sat down to eat. Check out the lovely cake by Celebrations Cakes from Tamworth.

After the first dance everyone got into the party spirit and we had our vintage photo booth there to capture some more fun photos of the evening. The Mr and Mrs lights were by Penny Lane.

Massive thanks to Clyde and the team at Stanbrook for an awesome day. They made sure that everything went perfectly for Becky and Steve.
