So good to be able to share this wedding with you all now. We have known Rachel and Shaun for a few years now as we photographed Shaun’s sister’s wedding and since then they have been guests at another wedding too. It was lovely to see lots of familiar faces, other couples who we have already photographed, couples who have us booked for their future wedding and also other guests from other weddings. Rachel and Shaun chose the beautiful Crockwell Farm for their day and they booked the weather in too! Not a cloud in the sky and roasting which meant everyone could enjoy the outdoor space at this popular wedding venue in Northamptonshire.

Both of them had stayed at the venue the night before along with a few other guests. So we met up with them in their respective cottages to capture photos of them getting ready. Rachel was with the Mums and her bridesmaids. She had Hayley Thompson Bridal doing make up and Elizabeth Jane Wedding Hair doing the hair styling. Her Mori Lee dress from Brides of Solihull was hanging in the honeymoon suite and it was beautiful.

The guys were all having an enjoyable time together down the road albeit it was a little warm for them all so they left putting their Next suits on until as late as possible. Kev captured a few photos of them at the cottage and then they all made their way up to the farm to greet guests.

During the morning the gorgeous flowers from Pink Peony arrived. The couple and their family and friends had helped with the rest of the decor the day before. Everywhere just looked amazing including the beautiful outdoor ceremony area amongst the trees.

Throughout the day we were working with Jason Lynch Weddings who were filming the day for Rachel and Shaun alongside us.

After the ceremony there was time for some refreshments which was very welcome and we did some family photos and a few couple photos before it was time for the wedding breakfast with wonderful food from The Chopping Block.

Speeches were great. Lots of laughter and also a few happy tears. Afterwards we took advantage of the lower sun and made our way up into the fields for some photos with the bridal party and a few more romantic photos with the newly weds.

It was soon time for the evening to get underway with music from one of our favourite bands, The Distractions.
