Dunchurch Park Hotel is a Grade II Listed building set in stunning grounds. We have been recommended as photographers at this lovely wedding venue for the best part of 10 years now and every time we photograph a wedding there it is always a pleasure. Helen and Adam are the latest couple to feature on our blog who chose the venue for their wedding day. We are so pleased they also chose us as their photographers. It was an awesome day with so much love and also hilarity. 🙂
Helen had chosen the hotel to get ready so I made my way to the bridal changing room to meet her there. She was having hair styling done by Salon Dolls in Bedworth. She said she couldn’t have imagined anyone else doing it for her as she has been a client for a fair few years.
And then there was the dress! What a beautiful Essense of Australia gown from Dress me Pretty in Hinckley. She looked gorgeous in it. Her bridesmaids looked beautiful too in dresses from Bridal Gallery in Brinklow.
Then there was Adam! We realised he was going to be fun quite early on so when he said he was getting ready at Alties in Bedworth we kind of knew the fun would start there. The guys all had breakfast, a few drinks at the bar and then got into kilts from MacGregor and MacDuff. Kev sure did find out what men wear under their kilts!!!
On arrival at the hotel Adam had a few photos with the guys, greeted guests in the bar and then waited for Helen to walk down the aisle. The stunning flowers need a mention here too. Adam’s Mum did all the flowers for the couple. Amazing!
Catherine from the Registry Office conducted the ceremony. There were times when we were all laughing but there was also time for the seriousness of the vows before heading outside for confetti. There were a certain couple of little ones that made us all laugh again at this point as you will see from the photos.
The weather was amazing so we were able to get lots of photos outside including getting the drone out for a few photos. It was soon time to make our way into the marquee for the wedding breakfast and some really lovely and special speeches.
Helen’s Mum had organised Mick Wright to come and do some caricatures of guests in the downtime after the meal. After Helen and Adam had their’s done we took them off down to the lake for some romantic couple photos (and more laughter and fun!)
Before we knew it the evening was upon us and after a few sunset photos it was time to cut a very impressive and beautiful cake from Adam’s Auntie Julie (Butterfly Dream Cakes) before the first dance with music from Red Skies who kept everyone on their feet all night.
What a day! We loved every minute. Thanks to Helen and Adam for choosing us to capture their memories. To see more ask them for the password for their gallery along with a discount code for prints.
