What an awesome day with Chelsea, Luke, their family and friends, many of whom we knew already. We knew we were going to have a great day with them all as we have photographed a few of their friends’ weddings before 🙂 Highgate House is in Northamptonshire not very far away from our studio nestled in beautiful countryside. It is a lovely venue with lots of photographic opportunities.
The morning started for me with Chelsea and the girls in the bridal suite. Lots and lots of laughter (I apologise now if the word laughter appears too often in this blog!!) Natalie from Renaissance was doing hair styling. I have met Natalie many times before and she always does a great job. Chloe Eleanor was doing make up and all the girls looked fab.
Chelsea’s dress was an absolutely stunning Maggie Sottero from Serendipity in Weedon. She looked incredible in it.
Kev captured Luke arriving at the venue with the drone! He then spent the time before the ceremony with the guys capturing them together. They all looked dapper in suits from the fab Albie and Lonnie’s in Rugby.
The flowers were from Garden of Weedon and looked amazing.
The ceremony was conducted by Jane and the laughter continued as you will see from the photographs! Once married it was into the bar to wait for a passing shower to clear and then there was time outside for photos (and more laughter) and gin from the big red bus!!
We all made our way into the room that was set for the wedding breakfast. As always Stingray Events had made this look wow! Speeches as you can imagine were, yes you guessed it, full of laughter, and afterwards we had time for some more photos including a sunset shot before the evening got under way with the cutting of the cake from All Things Cakery. After the first dance we weren’t left short of a shot of the guests dancing. Everyone piled on with music from the great band Chromatic.
Wonderful day with many guests who we would now consider friends including Chelsea and Luke. Thanks for making it so awesome you lovely pair! Check out the slideshow above and the photos below. If you want to see more just contact them for the their password and discount code for prints.
