We absolutely love Wethele Manor which is a gorgeous countryside wedding venue in between Rugby and Leamington Spa. So we were delighted when Emma and Kyle asked us to be their wedding photographers. We photographed Emma’s brother’s wedding a couple of years ago so it was lovely to see some familiar faces.
My day started with the girls in the gorgeous waterside bridal changing room at Wethele. Leanne from LC Hair Company was doing the hair styling and it was lovely to see Beth Hall yet again who was doing the make up. Emma’s dress from Wed2B was hanging proudly in the room ready for her to put it on. Tina Lambert had dropped off the gorgeous bouquets and was also responsible for the rest of the floral arrangements at the venue and Church.
Kev made his way over to Kyle. He was with his best man getting into suits from Peter Posh in Warwick.
Things were a little tight on the timings but with everyone pulling together we got Emma into her fab car from Townsends and on the way to St John the Baptist in Hillmorton where the vicar, Steve, was ready and waiting.
The service was lovely and once rings had been exchanged and the register signed we made our way outside where the couple got lots of congratulatory hugs and kisses before we lined the guests up ready for confetti.
Duncan from Wethele was on hand with bubbles when the couple arrived at the venue and after a few photos at the front of the house everyone made their way round to the courtyard area where there was a Halloumi Bar set up as an alternative to canapes. It went down a treat!
We had the opportunity to use the gardens for some couple portraits before everyone made their way into the marquee for the wedding breakfast.
After the meal we were able to take Emma and Kyle off for a few more photos in the fields and we also got the drone up for a few pictures. It was soon time to cut the cake made by friend Charlotte Read-Groves and then the party started with the first dance. Check out the Hooch theme going on too.
A fabulous day, massive thanks to Duncan, Jenny and the team for looking after everyone. To see more photos ask the newly weds for the password and discount code for their gallery.
