It was fab to be back at Swallows Nest Barn during the summer for Cameasha and Joe’s wedding. It is a gorgeous venue and has lots of photo opportunities so it is always a pleasure being back there. We have waited until the newly weds had enjoyed their honeymoon before sharing their pictures, it gave them something to look forward to after all the excitement of the last couple of months.
It was great that we were working with Ben from BRS Videography again too. We always love teaming up with him to ensure we all capture the perfect day.
Both chose different local hotels to get ready in. They weren’t too far away from either the venue or the Church where they were to say their vows. I was with Cameasha and her bridesmaids. Beth Hall was doing make up with assistance from the couple’s gorgeous son as you will see in the photos. He took a liking to the brushes! Her gorgeous dress was a Ronald Joyce design from The Dressing Rooms in Halesowen.
A mention to Suzanne Evetts at this point for all the amazing bouquets and floral arrangements at the venue.
Joe and the guys had suits from Peter Posh in Warwick.
Cameasha had the fairytale arrival at Church in a horse and carriage from JEM Carriages. Those horses are soooo well behaved. It was lovely to see the team behind the horses again too. The car that transported the bridesmaids was from Wedding Cars Direct.
After the service there were lots of hugs and congratulations before everyone made their way back to Swallows Nest where the team were ready and waiting to hand out confetti and drinks to the guests. The atmosphere was so relaxed with everyone enjoying the outdoors and games that had been provided. After photos including a drone shot of all the guests it was time to sit down for dinner. The barn looked amazing. Favours were hand made by Karen Harrison-Fearn and stationery was by Eaton Stationery and Gifts. While the guests ate Pantasy Steel Drum Band set up ready to entertain them before the evening got under way. We were so lucky with the weather with the only rain being during the wedding breakfast.
The cutting of an incredible fairytale castle cake by Mrs Meir’s Kitchen- Seasoned with Love was followed by a wonderful choreographed dance with music provided by Mansfield Avenue.
Wonderful day full of fun and emotion. Loved it! Check out a few photos below but to see more contact Cameasha or Joe for the password and discount code for the gallery.
