Catthorpe Manor is becoming a regular venue for us and we are not surprised couples are choosing this beautiful manor house estate for their weddings. We met Charlotte and Richard over 2 years ago at a wedding fayre where they decided we were the photographers for them so it was lovely after all that time to finally get chance to shoot their special day.
They had decided that they wanted to keep things easy from a logistical point of view so both of them got ready at the hotel. Charlotte had one of the suites and had LK Hair and Kaye Salmon doing hair and make up. She had a stunning Mori Lee dress from Beau Belles in Derby. It was a lovely morning with the inclusion of 2 very special flower girls one of which was the couple’s daughter who was the star of the show!
Richard and the groomsmen had suits from Quorndon Formal Hire.
The couple had chosen an outdoor ceremony. What a gorgeous way to get married. The weather was perfect too. They had George Simpson singing and playing the guitar throughout the day and into the evening. He also organised the music for later.
The decor around the venue was by Princess Occasions and the beautiful flowers by Katie Alice Formal Design.
We had the opportunity to capture some formal photos of the family and a big group photo from the air (with our drone) and then take the couple off for a few portraits before they were welcomed into their wedding breakfast which was followed by the cutting of the cake from Grandma’s Kitchen.
There was time after for a few more photos and then it was time to party.
Big thanks to the team at Catthorpe for ensuring the day went without a hitch especially to Lydia and Victoria. Check out some of their photos below. To see more contact the couple for a password and discount code for their gallery.
