Such a pleasure to be asked by people who work in the industry to be their wedding photographers. Natasha used to work with wedding couples at a local hotel and that is where we met her. When it was her time to get married to Dan she asked if we would photograph the day for them and as a bonus it was at the fabulous Dodmoor House in Northamptonshire.
Dodmoor House has a bridal suite which can also be made available for the bride to get ready in however Natasha and Dan decided that they would both get ready away from the venue. Natasha was at a local hotel which is where I met up with her and her bridesmaids. She was having hairstyling by Mops of Dunchurch and Levi from Blush by Levi was doing make up. Natasha’s beautiful dress was from Shop for Brides in Daventry. The bridal party were transported in style to Dodmoor House in the wonderful VW camper from The Old Camper Company.
Kev was at the couple’s home were Dan was getting ready with his best man. They had suits from Albie and Lonnie’s in Rugby.
During the morning Annita from Annita’s Floral Design had arrived at Dodmoor with stunning flowers. Check out those bouquets!
The ceremony was conducted by Northamptonshire registrars. The couple had chosen some lovely readings too. The decision was made to throw confetti as they walked back down the aisle as the weather had been unpredictable but we were still able to get all the guests together for a big group shot before Natasha and Dan went off for a Champagne drive in the camper. During the drinks reception Laura Kelly was entertaining the guests in the barn.
We were so lucky with the weather. All the group shots were outside (a bit of holding onto hats had to happen as there were a few gusts of wind) and we were able to lots of couple portraits in the beautiful grounds of Dodmoor too.
The guests made their way in for the wedding breakfast and speeches. At this point the rain came. So of course we took advantage with a couple of rain shots after the meal and then a few photos in the bridal suite too. As professional wedding photographers we need to be able to deal with all types of weather and also know how to use lighting to get the best out of any situation 🙂
Everyone had a brilliant day and Natasha and Dan would like to thank Tanice and the Dodmoor team for making it so special for them. Check out just a few of the many photos below.
