It was such a pleasure to have a return trip to Crockwell Farm recently for the wedding of such a lovely couple, Hannah and Hugh. This is a very popular venue in the Northamptonshire countryside. It has such beautiful grounds and the team run the day under the supervision of the fabulous Laura so well.
We had got to know Hannah and Hugh during their pre wedding session. They brought along their two dogs for this and the pair even managed to get themselves in the wedding photos too, albeit one of them in a very precarious moment just before the outdoor confetti throw!
Our day started with preparations. Both were getting ready on site. Hannah was in the Dryden Cottage which is lovely. She had our lovely friend Demi from Mack in Rugby doing the hair styling and we also saw Claire Shiner again doing make up. Hugh was down the road getting into his suit from Albie and Lonnie’s. He looked very smart along with the rest of the groomsmen.
It was time to put on the dress that Hannah had bought from Sammie Lou Bridal Couture. Wow she looked stunning in the Enzoani creation. She had been really taking care of herself in the run up to the wedding with personal training from Hannah Wright.
Michelle Frost was responsible for all the floral arrangements and bouquets. She worked so hard especially as she had to get herself ready as she was a guest at the wedding too!
The ceremony started with an emotional moment as Hugh watched Hannah walk down the aisle with her Dad. The Northamptonshire registrars were fab as always and managed to recompose themselves after a minor mishap between a candle and a scarf during the signing of the register!!!
Two lots of confetti followed and then there was time for group photos in the sunshine. Yes it was gorgeous weather, blue sky added to blossom and daffodils, the perfect Spring day.
We had the opportunity to take the newly weds off for some couple photos before they were welcomed into their wedding breakfast. Lots of the decor they had done themselves, all around a bit of a golfing theme.
We were able to take Hannah and Hugh off for some evening shots later including one of my favourite romantic photos in the field. We also had some fun with the bridal party. It was then back in for the cutting of the cake made by the talented Karen from Cakes Fabulous Cakes.
A massive thanks to The Chopping Block who were the caterers for the day. The couple and their guests loved the food.
Check out a few of the photos below. Great day!
