It is such a pleasure to share the latest wedding from Hand Picked Hotel’s, Fawsley Hall in Northamptonshire. Caroline and David married there recently. We photographed Caroline’s sisters wedding almost 4 years ago so it was absolutely lovely to meet up with the family again. We are recommended photographers at Fawsley Hall so the fact that Caroline and David chose this stunning venue was a bonus!
Caroline chose to get ready at the hotel. She had Ryan Bailie doing her hair styling for her. She chose to do her own make up but the bridesmaids had Claire Shiner doing their make up. I was joined in the morning by our great friend Ben from BRS Videography who was to spend the day with the couple too capturing their day as a film. Flowers by Pauline delivered bouquets to the room which was an emotional moment. There was a beautiful Enzoani dress from The White Boutique, Leamington Spa, hanging in Caroline’s parents’ room. She really did look incredible in it.
Kev started his day at the home of the couple where David was getting ready with his best man before travelling to the venue in his rather special car! They looked great in suits from Albie and Lonnie’s.
The ceremony was held in the main house and was led by the lovely Jane from Northamptonshire Registrars. Lots of lovely little moments throughout including Caroline catching my eye to point at the weather outside…it was hailing!! All that meant was the wedding guests had to spend a little longer in the magnificent Great Hall being served drinks and canapes before the blue sky and sun appeared again so we could go outside for photos.
A very very special mention to Stevie at this point. The couple cannot thank him enough for all he did on the day ensuring the whole thing went off without a hitch. He co-ordinated the guests move over to Knightley Court where everyone sat down for the wedding breakfast. The room looked fab with decor and stationery from Cards Galore. After the speeches it was time to cut a beautiful cake made by Cakes Fabulous Cakes.
We had an opportunity to capture a few more couple portraits before the evening began. Another good friend, DJ Paul Kavanagh, was all set up and ready to get the dancing started with the first dance. After this it was time to party. Our Photo Booth with one of our gorgeous new flower backdrops was also there to capture a few more photos of guests.
A great day with great people. Lovely to catch up with the newly weds to premier their photos to them. Here are a selection for you below.
