We are delighted to be able to share with you some photos from the beautiful wedding of Sarah and Chris. They chose the stunning Manor House Hotel in Castle Combe for their special day. This was a venue that we hadn’t photographed at before and we were excited to be chosen as this lovely couple’s wedding photographers. The venue is stunning inside and out. There is a lovely warm cosy feel inside, perfect for a winter wedding. When we arrived there was a mist just lifting around the building which was extremely atmospheric.
Both of them were getting ready at the hotel. Sarah had a beautiful suite to use for her bridal preparations. Chloe Anne Mills was doing the hair styling and Mandy-Lee Perkins was doing make up. There was a wonderful fun atmosphere with Sarah and her bridesmaids, who were also taking their duties very seriously 🙂 Kev captured the groomsmen getting ready too. They had gifts handed out and then headed outside for a few group photos before making their way inside to welcome guests.
Sarah had a stunning dress from Trousseaux and she looked amazing. The finishing touch was a bouquet from Little Gems Florist who also did the rest of the floral displays and bouquets.
The ceremony was beautiful. What a gorgeous room to get married in. There were a few emotional tears from both Sarah and Chris which added to the personal feel of the ceremony. Once married we were able to take everyone outside (as the weather was on our side) for some confetti throwing and group photos. Then the guests made their way inside while we took the newly weds for some time alone. Well they were sort of alone while we captured their couple portraits!!
During the drinks reception Arcosanti, a string quartet, were playing and magician The Trixta was entertaining the guests. Once the room had been turned around by the hotel team everyone was welcomed in for the wedding breakfast. The room looked stunning with decor from Cahoots and stationery from Archibald Edwards. Some great speeches were incorporated into this time and then everyone had a bit of downtime before the evening got under way. During this time we were able to capture some of our signature shots including using a puddle to capture one of my favourite images. There is always a benefit when it has rained!
The evening including a casino by The Royal Casino and photo booth by Chris’ Mum, Picture Perfick. The dancing was preceded by the cutting of a stunning cake by The Fairy Cakery. DJ The Wedding Players then got the party started.
Amazing day from start to finish with an amazing couple. Thanks to Gemma who co-ordinated all the planning for Sarah and Chris in advance of the day and then the rest of the team for making sure everything went smoothly.
