Claire and Leigh contacted us 2 years ago to enquire about becoming their wedding photographer for their Warwickshire wedding after seeing us in action at a friend’s wedding the summer before. It has been lovely being part of their wedding planning. They chose the Stratford Park Hotel for their celebrations and a rather lovely St Peters Church in Hampton Lucy to get married. Although they plumped for a winter wedding the weather was to be kind to them and we had a crisp day with blue skies.
Claire had chosen to get ready at the hotel with her parents and bridesmaids. Claire’s Dad had been a wedding photographer so it was lovely to finally meet him. There were a few nerves but everyone still had a lovely relaxed time as hair was being done by family friend Helen and make up was being done by Lucy of The Glam Room. During the morning flowers were delivered by Beautiful Blooms Floral Design. Claire looked stunning in her dress from Wed2B.
Kev was with Leigh at home getting ready with his groomsmen. They had chosen Marc Darcy suits from Albie and Lonnies in Rugby. I have to say that Leigh was pretty chuffed with his attire 🙂
At Church Kev captured the guys arrival and once Claire arrived she was led in by the vicar, David. The marriage ceremony was lovely with lots of little moments of laughter which I was able to capture from the front whilst Kev was capturing the beautiful stained glass backdrop from the back of the church, just one of the benefits of having two photographers. It was a little cold after the service so we stayed inside to take a few family photos before we lined the guests up outside so they could throw confetti.
Once back at the hotel there was a drinks reception in the main house. We managed to capture some couple photos on the golf course before the sunset and the announcement of the guests into the Elizabethan Barn for the wedding breakfast. The room looked beautiful with chairs hired from Wow. There were just a few cakes!! Check out the photo. The cutting wedding cake was made by Claire’s Mum and the others by Crowe’s Cakes.
While the room was turned around for the evening we had an opportunity to get some lights out and get creative outside, along with a sparkler tunnel, before DJ Dave got the dancing underway.
Our Vintage Photo Booth was perfect up on the balcony and gave some additional photos and added to the fun. Check out a few of the photos below. Claire and Leigh have a password and discount code for prints if you want to see more.
