So happy to share with you a beautiful wedding we photographed over the Christmas period. This wedding had everything and all the guests had an amazing day as did the bride and groom, Amy and Greg. They chose the beautiful venue Mythe Barn which is near Atherstone. We have photographed there a few times now and all at different times of the year so we have seen how it is perfect for a wedding regardless of the season. The gardens are kept beautifully and everyone is looked after so well.

Before Amy and Greg were to celebtrate at their wedding venue there was the matter of the actual wedding ceremony. This was held at St Mary’s Church in Clifton upon Dunsmore which was also the village where Amy was getting ready. When I arrived at her parents’ house she has Rebecca Wadeson of The Annex Studios doing hair and make up for her. Later in the morning the ladies from Pink Chocolate arrived to do some of the make up too. Throughout the wedding there was hints of the family tartan which was used for the children and also for wraps for the adult bridesmaids. Tllie’s Bridal Dreams were responsible for all of these. Kate James, Amy’s sister had a busy morning doing all of the flowers. They looked amazing. Check out the floral display above the doorway to the Church. Amy had two dresses! The first one was by designer Enzoani and was from Sammie Lou Bridal Couture. During the morning Zade joined me from Zade Film Co to video the events of the day. It was lovely to work with him again.

Kev went off to meet up with Greg who was getting ready at home with the couple’s son. The men were all dressed in suits from Salters of Rugby.

There were some fabulous transport arrangements. The Old Camper Company took the bridesmaids to the Church and Amy followed in a house and carriage from The Ostler Ltd. Amy was then piped into Church by Chris Couch. Another nice touch to celebrate the Scottish side of the family. The service was emotional. Lots of tears from Amy as she walked down the aisle (happy ones of course!) During the signing of the register Callum McPhillips entertained the congregation with some beautiful live music.

Lots of hugs and kisses followed the service before we captured some family photos and a confetti tunnel and then made our way over to Mythe Barn. The guests were transported in coaches from Revel. Amy, Greg and their two children enjoyed the hospitality of The Old Camper Company. You always get more than just transport from Mick and Denise.

As we had some dry weather we took advantage and captured the couple’s portraits on arrival and then they were free to enjoy the drinks reception with the guests. The children were all entertained by Jelly Bean Parties. There was a lot of beautiful decoration throughout the venue with an amazing fireplace table plan taking centre stage. The wedding reception room had been decorated by The The Giant Card and Balloon Company and it looked beautiful. Once seated caterers Galloping Gourmet looked after the guests and then it was time for speeches and a surprise! “The Best Singing Waiters” stood up and started entertaining and as you can see from the photos everyone joined in and loved it!

There was another surprise for the children when Father Christmas arrived after the meal with gifts for everyone. Thanks to Elvis for this!

Before the evening got underway Amy had her own surprise for everyone when she changed into another dress, this time it was from Serendipity. She looked equally as beautiful in this one too. We captured a few evening shots and then it was time to cut the cake made by friend Annie Vigars. Then it was first dance and the evening carried on with music by Revolver.

It was a beautiful, fun, emotional wedding day. Perfect! Check out some of the many photos from the day below. To see more contact Amy or Greg for the password and discount code for prints. Thanks to the team at Mythe for looking after us once again.
