It was lovely that Natalie and Gareth wanted to wait for a personal viewing to see their photos rather than us just send them out a link so we are now able to add them to give them their bit of “blog limelight”. They got married on a mixed day in terms of weather but that didn’t spoil any opportunities for photos. The rain just came at the right times! Their venue is one that we love and we are also a recommended photographer for, Fawsley Hall Hotel and Spa in Northamptonshire. We never tire of photographing here. There are so many beautiful spots inside and out for photos.
We had a lovely morning with the couple getting ready. Natalie had her bridesmaids and the Mums with her in one of the beautiful suites at Fawsley. Hair styling was being done by Styles by Nat and Make up by Brooke Savannah. Her gorgeous dress was from Wed2B.
Kev tied up with Gareth and the guys. They all had suits from Warwicks.
The stunning flowers around the venue and including the bouquets had been put together by Homelands of Kingsthorpe. The colours were gorgeous.
The ceremony was conducted by Northamptonshire Registrars and was lovely. A few little moments of hilarity throughout that took away the nerves.
We had a little bit of hilarity of our own when we were doing the couple portraits as the sheep from the estate had escaped from their field and were roaming in the background on the lawn. Kev did his best to try and coax them back to the field through the gate but let’s just say he’s no shepherd!!
The evening got under way with cake cutting and a DJ friend got the party started with the first dance.
A brilliant day. Natalie and Gareth couldn’t speak highly enough of Stevie who ran the day on behalf of the hotel. They said he was incredible and wanted him to get a mention.
