Another beautiful Draycote Hotel wedding to share with you on our blog. We had the pleasure of being the chosen wedding photographers of Louise and Aaron. It was great to spend the day with this lovely pair as we had gotten to know them in advance of their big day and we knew it was going to be full of fun.
As always Kev and myself were able to capture photos of each of them in the run up to the ceremony. This was all at the hotel itself. Louise was being pampered with her bridesmaids and Mum. Kim from Urban Hair and Body was doing the hairstyling and Suzie Gee, the make up. Louise looked incredible in her dress from Lula Ann Bridal in Birmingham.
The Phoenix Suite was where Aaron was waiting for Louise to see her walk down the aisle. This had been decorated by Rainbow Wedding Shop and Wedding Wishes (who also supplied the flowers). There was also the addition of uplighting by JLW Sound and Light.
Amy conducted the ceremony and once married we were able to make it onto the golf course for a few photos. It was a little windy but the rain held off until the group photos were done and we were safely back in the hotel. It then hammered it down!! The ground was needing it so we didn’t mind that it had waited until we had done what we needed!!
The guests were then led back into the Phoenix Suite which had been turned around for the wedding breakfast by the brilliant team at the hotel. The Best Man’s speech was one we will never forget..absolutely awesome.
The evening kicked off with the cutting of the cake from Lou’s with Love and then Gary from JLW introduced the first dance. The rain had eased again so we popped out onto the golf course before we left to capture some of our favourite evening shots at Draycote. We just love the parched ground and angry sky.
Amazing day all round. Big thanks to Mia and all the operations team at Draycote. Check out a few of the photos below. To see more just ask Louise or Aaron for the password and discount code for prints.
