Another first time venue and wow what a first it was too! Ashley and Andrew chose the magnificent Warwick Castle as the venue for their summer wedding. They have returned from honeymoon so now it is time to share some photos from their special day. We had a baking hot day so having a later ceremony was probably a little relief for everyone.
It was a different start to the day for both of us. As the ceremony was later I started a little later in the day, meeting Ashley, her bridesmaids and parents in Knights Village which was where they were getting ready. The ladies from Mack were hard at work doing hair and make up. Ashley’s gorgeous dress was from David’s Bridal in Birmingham. I had Zade from Zade Film Co. working alongside me which was great.
Kev had a very special trip to the castle. He met up with Andrew and the guys at the couple’s home and then they all made their way to Baginton Airport in suits from Salters of Rugby to catch a helicopter supplied by Top Flight Helicopters and piloted by George. Andrew travelled with his Dad on the first trip and Kev had a lift so he could capture a few photos on the journey. Once landed at the Castle it was back to the airport to pick up the Best Men so Andrew got a couple of trips in!
Once it her dress Sue from Garden Gate arrived with stunning flowers for Ashley and the girls. She had a challenging day keeping flowers fresh but did an incredible job and there were stunning displays throughout.
It was quite a trek up to the castle so Zade and I made our way ahead of Ashley so we could capture her arrival in the buggy provided by the venue. At this point there were lots of visitors still around who were delighted to see a bride arriving.
After the ceremony we had a few family photos on the lawn before being led across to the Peacock Garden for drinks and entertainment in the form of a fire performer and a magician. Oh and of course the peacocks were entertaining too. We used the gardens to capture some couple portraits and then we were able to make use of the castle features including climbing up to the bridal suite which was up in the tower so made for some lovely additional photos.
Everyone was welcomed into the Great Hall for the wedding breakfast which looked amazing. Guests were treated to fighting knights before speeches. We took the couple out for a few evening shots and there was still lots of treats for guests before the night was out. Fireworks from Merlin, Sparklers, Cake Cutting (amazing cake from Rustic Rose Cake Company and topper from Lucy’s Cake Topper), First Dance and then our Photo Booth which had the most unique backdrop that included none other than a past King of England!!
An incredible day full of fun and entertainment. Check out a few of the photos below but to see more Ashley and Andrew have a password and discount code for their gallery.
