There was definitely a hint of football running through this wedding! We had kickabouts with the bride and groom and bridal party, there were signing balls as guest books and check out the names of the tables. I think you can safely say this lovely pair are Leicester City fans! Emma and Jamie had planned a beautiful wedding and were blessed with fabulous weather too. They chose the gorgeous Dunchurch Park Hotel as their venue which looked glorious in the sunshine.
But first it was to get ready to get married at St Marks Church in Bilton, somewhere we are very familiar with.
Emma chose to use the bridal changing room at the hotel. She was joined by her bridesmaids and Mum. Sammie Lou was doing the make up. It was lovely to see one of our past brides Yvonne who was doing the hair styling with Christina from Jazz in Lutterworth. Emma had chosen a stunning dress from Mabel and Maud in Rugby and had an equally stunning veil to complement it.
Kev was at another local hotel where Jamie and his groomsmen were getting ready. They did a little stop for photos at Dunchurch Park once dressed in their Marc Darcy suits from Albie and Lonnie’s and then it was on to Church to greet guests.
Tim conducted the ceremony and once married it was time for the traditional confetti throw before making our way back to the hotel to celebrate. The beautiful car that transported them was from Townsends. On arrival Amin, who was running the day for them, was on hand with glasses of fizz for the newly weds before everyone congregated on the terrace for drinks. We were able to capture some beautiful couple portraits of the pair down by the lake and then it was time for the wedding breakfast. The Great Hall looked stunning with a pastel theme. All of the gorgeous flowers including the bouquets were by Tina Lambert and the decor and stationary had been sorted by Gems Celebrations.
A little surprise greeted Emma and Jamie when they entered the room. Paul Hing had arrived to play the Leicester City Football Club horn to welcome them in. Jamie had a try but there wasn’t a lot of sound coming out!!!
After a lovely meal we had some fun with the bridal party and the football, a few more couple photos and then it was back into the Great Hall for the cutting of the cake. A special mention here for Jamie’s sister, Sarah Evans, who made the cake. It looked amazing (and smelt good too!). Music was courtesy of Showtime Events and dancing commenced with the traditional first dance after which the party really got started.
Our Luxury Vintage Photo Booth was on hand to capture a few more fun memories into the evening.
Everyone had a great day. Big thanks to Zoe from Dunchurch Park Hotel for all the help in the run up to the wedding and Amin who looked after everyone on the day. To see more photos ask the couple for the password and discount code for their gallery.
