A very special wedding to share with you here. You may recognise the best man! James and Kev have been friends for 30 years so when he recently married Tanya he said there could only be one person by his side to support him 🙂 The only problem was that he wanted us to photograph the day too. Problem…no problem. We were able to capture their celebrations and enjoy it too!

Tanya had her daughters and Grandchildren with her at home where she was getting ready. She also had Candice Fuller doing her make up for her as well as helping her into her beautiful dress from Florence Bridal. James stayed the night with us so Kev captured a few photos of him getting ready. He looked great in his kilt from Salters of Rugby.

The couple had fallen in love with the Black Prince Room at Cheylesmore Manor House in Coventry so this was where they travelled to for the wedding ceremony. This was where the transport came in. The Old Camper Company took the bridal party from Rugby and everyone loved being in the VW Camper Van especially the children.

The beautiful bouquets and flowers were from Jeans Flowers.

The ceremony was full of emotion and laughter. A funny moment when the bride’s Dad’s phone went off with a rather unfortunate ring tone was greeted with a great joke from the registrars. We also had a great poem from Louise. She wrote it herself and delivered it perfectly.

After the ceremony we captured a few photos of family and friends before making our way back to Rugby. We did a detour with the newly weds so we could take some couple portraits. They loved the camper experience. It truly is more than just a means of transport. There was a little stop at a pub for a few drinks before everyone was transported to Treacles in Rugby for afternoon tea. Michelle did them proud.

The evening celebrations were planned for the following evening. Make My Day Events and House of Cards did the decor. The cake was made by Lucy, one of Tanya’s daughters and was gorgeous. The Dance Floor Fillers provided the music and our photo booth was a hit with everyone.

Great weekend was had by all. Check out a few of the photos below. The link to the rest is: https://anievansphotography.smugmug.com/Weddings/Tanya-and-James/ Ask James or Tanya for the password and a discount code for prints.
