It was such a pleasure to be asked by Natasha and Laurence to photograph their wedding. There were some family links for us which made it extra special. Not only that but they chose a beautiful church and venue for their special day. St Botolph’s Church in Newbold is a beautiful Church just on the outskirts of Rugby. Fawsley Hall is a stunning hotel set in rolling Northamptonshire countryside. Perfect combination.

But the day started for us both capturing the preparations. Natasha had chosen her parents’ home to get ready with her bridesmaids. Clare Walker (one of our past brides herself) was doing the make up and Ellie from Carol Elizabeth Hair Salon was working hard styling hair. During the morning gorgeous flowers from Annita’s Floral Design were dropped off. Natasha’s dress was beautiful and it was from the Rugby bridal boutique, Sammie Lou Bridal Couture.

Laurence was at home getting ready with the guys. They all had suits from Albie and Lonnie’s and they looked fab. We loved Laurence’s double breasted waistcoat.

When it was time to go to Church it was a car from Coventry Wedding Cars that transported Natasha and once there she walked down the aisle to meet her husband to be. The service was lovely with a few funny moments. Check out the shoes. It was great that we were able to capture both sides to this. Kev was at the back so captured the shoes and I got the reaction from the front. Once married the couple greeted all of their guests and there was a quiet family moment before we all lined up for confetti. Not sure that Laurence was impressed with the taste!!

The Fawsley Hall team were ready to welcome everyone when they arrived. We took a few photos of the newly weds with the car before they joined the guests. Everywhere looked beautiful, the stationery included which was from Auntie Hazel at Dragon’s Paper Craft. It was such a relaxed atmosphere which was added to by pianist Anthony Heynes of Spring and Pemberton.

The evening got under way with the cutting of the cake from Claire’s Creative Bakes and then Barry from Day and Night Discos got the dancing under way.

Our Photo Booth provided lots of fun and extra photos and then there was a surprise for Natasha as a fireworks display had been organised without her knowing. Halo FX provided a brilliant show and then we took the couple off for a few extra firework photos, just the two of them.

A perfect day all round. Thanks to everyone at the hotel for making it special. The couple spoke highly of Louise who had helped them plan everything.
