It was a cold day for Stacey and Matt’s Christmas wedding but such a lovely day that it really didn’t matter. They had chosen a local Church to get married and then it was to on to the St Mary’s Guildhall in Coventry, a first time visit for us.
Stacey was at home in the morning with her bridesmaids. She had the lovely Bryony Dalton taking care of make up and hair was being styled by MODE Bridal, Hair & Makeup. Her gorgeous dress was by Mori Lee. I have to say that Stacey’s bouquet was probably one of my favourites of the year. It was so different and absolutely stunning. Penny Johnson of Coleshill was the creator of this.
Matt was at a hotel in the centre of Coventry with the guys getting into their suits from Mark Andrew Formal Hire before travelling to the Church.
Stacey’s parents arrived to accompany the girls to the Church in a car from Blushing Bride Wedding Cars. The vicar was ready and waiting to take them straight in out of the cold.
After a few family photos it was back to the venue. The cobbled road alongside the venue and the ruins of the old cathedral made a perfect backdrop for some couple portraits. We then continued in the cathedral ruins before they joined guests for the wedding breakfast.
The decor looked incredible and this was by Adele from Bunting and Willow who went above and beyond for the couple.
After speeches they had magician and hypnotist, Stephen Seabourne, entertaining the guests. Wow! He was really good. I have never seen someone hypnotised when I have been stood so close and it was incredible.
Once the room was turned around for the evening and the band had set up it was time for the cutting of the wonderful cake by Sophie Page before the first dance. They also had a Mirror Booth from Intense Events to entertain the guests. I know they are looking forward to seeing their video by Shoot it Yourself.
