Crick was our home for the day for the lovely wedding of Helen and Charles. Lots of colour around with vibrant orange and blue as a contrast.

Helen was staying at her parents’ home so had Louisa Cooper there doing her hair and make up. Her dress came from the popular Sammie Lou Bridal Couture and her Mum was on hand to help her into it before she left to go down the road to the Church in the car driven by Frank.

Charles had been staying at the Wheatsheaf which was where the reception was to be held. It is run by Helen’s parents and they had done a beautiful job of decorating it the night before. Charles had chosen to get the suits for the guys from Albie and Lonnie’s and they all looked very smart indeed.

The ceremony was held in the little chapel in Crick and once married the couple came out to confetti and we used the green opposite for some group photos and then to take them off for their couple portraits before they re-joined their guests back at the pub. Everyone enjoyed their meal and there was time for some mingling before the evening entertainment got under way. But before that it was time to cut the cake make by Melody Cakes.

It was a real pleasure to see Me and My Shadow arrive as we knew that everyone was going to have a wonderful evening listening to them sing and watching them dancing. What an incredible duo Nathan and Kenny are.

We had a lovely day and were looked after by the family including great food (definitely booking a return visit for a meal soon!) Check out some of the photos we captured. To see more you will need the password from the newly weds.
