Dodford Manor has been a regular venue for us in 2017. It offers the rustic feel of a barn venue but also contemporary features and also a great experience with fab staff! Jennie and Sam found this beautiful venue and decided it was the perfect place for their wedding day.
Jennie chose to start getting ready at a local hotel before travelling to Dodford. Make up was being done by SC Make Up and hair was Kayleigh from MaCk. Zade Aerial was also there starting the video coverage of the day. Kev was with Sam and the couple’s two lovely boys. The men’s suits were provided by Albert Formalwear and they all looked fab.
On arrival at Dodford Manor I took Jennie’s beautiful Justin Alexander dress from Sammie Lou Bridal Couture to capture a photo of it hanging in the ceremony barn before she was helped into it by her bridesmaids. Flowers had been delivered by Melanie Webb Flowers and there was an emotional surprise for Jennie within her bouquet. 🙂
After the ceremony we were able to capture lots of relaxed photos of guests enjoying the drinks reception and also the magic tricks of Owen Strickland. There was time for a few group photos including a shot of everyone watching the newly weds release a balloon in memory of Jennie’s Mum which was a lovely moment. We were then able to take them off for a few photos before they made their way in for their wedding breakfast. A special mention for Sam’s Mum who had made the flower girls’ dresses, wedding favours and the stunning cake.
We were really blessed with the weather and an awesome sunset. It was great working with Zade and Kayne too. So important for photographers and videographers to work together as a team on a wedding day. Once the photos were done everyone danced the night away to Pure Rhythm.
A massive thanks to Lydia and the team at Dodford who made sure everything went without a hitch and of course we must mention Jenkinson’s Caterers.
