Another visit for us to Warwick House in Southam, a very popular Warwickshire wedding venue. This time it was the turn of Jess and Joe who actually contacted us having seen our photos of the venue on Pinterest. They chose a gorgeous colour scheme as you will from the images below. The weather wasn’t playing ball though but with lots of indoor photo opportunities and the undercover gazebo in the garden it didn’t stop us from capturing some lovely shots of their special day.
Kev and I both travelled to Southam to meet up with the two of them as they were getting ready there. Hair stylist Jodie did a beautiful job. Jess’s dress from Dress me Pretty was a Justin Alexander (my favourite!) and was stunning. Flowers by Suzanne Evetts of Southam were just incredible. A special mention to Joe’s Mum who did lots of little additions and alterations to the bridesmaids dresses in particular the flower girls.
Joe arrived to get ready at the venue. The men all had suits from Moss Bros including top hats and Kev was able to take them outside for some shots in the morning before the rain started.
Julia from the Rugby Registry Office was conducting the ceremony in her own wonderful way. We are so lucky locally that we have such a great team of people conducting civil ceremonies. Afterwards we managed to get a big group shot of all the guests before the rain started again and then it was inside for the rest of the day.
Andrew and his team at the venue kept everything running smoothly throughout the day. The room looked fabulous once set up for the wedding breakfast with a very special cake made by Jess herself looking amazing in the corner.
We did manage one shot of the couple outside just before the evening celebrations commenced. With 4 lights we managed to get a rather lovely shot of the gazebo in the rain. It is an important consideration when choosing both your venue and your photographer….what happens if it rains?
A great day was had by all. Thanks to Warwick House for looking after us as always. See you again soon. Enjoy the photos. If you want to see more then contact Jess or Joe for the password and also a discount code for prints.
