I can still remember meeting Michelle and Charlie for the first time at our studio when they came to see us with a view to booking us as their wedding photographers for their special day at Ashton Lodge Country House. They were such a bubbly couple and we knew we were going to have a good day with them and we sure did. This was another wedding working with Ben from BRS Videography which is always an added bonus.
I met up with Michelle at her Mum’s home where she was getting ready. Candice Fuller Make Up Artist was already hard at work and did a beautiful job as always. Socorra Stokes was sorting out the hair styling. I went up to get the detail shots and immediately noticed one of Michelle’s passions…..shoes! A lovely pair of Jimmy Choos with the date of the wedding on the sole. Not only that but a gift arrived from Charlie……a pair of Louboutins. What a great pressie!
Michelle looked stunning in her Mori Lee gown from Dona Nicole in Leicester.
Charlie was at home getting ready with the boys and having a bit of fun along the way too! Their suits were from Wedding Suit Hire of Oadby.
It was lovely to see John Binns arrive from Married in Style vintage cars. It is always a pleasure to photograph his stunning cars.
The Church service in Earl Shilton was led by Rev Martin and was very personal. It was then outside for photos before making our way back to Ashton Lodge where Carmen and Sarah were waiting to greet everyone. As always they both did an amazing job of making sure the whole day was perfect for the couple.
We took Michelle and Charlie off for some couple photos and managed to get a lovely shot of Michelle’s bouquet from White’s Florists in Lutterworth before they re-joined the guests. The theme of their wedding breakfast was the seaside and it looked fabulous. Everyone sat down for a delicious meal from The Chopping Block.
We got a few more evening shots with the pair before the evening entertainment started with cutting of the cake from Clairey’s Cakes and then the first dance with music from Not Just a DJ.
What a fab day we all had. Enjoy a few of the many photos from the day.
