Another lovely wedding to share with you and this time from Dodford Manor in Northamptonshire. Melanie and Iain came to see us as soon as they had booked their wedding venue as we had been recommended to them by friends that had used us as their wedding photographers. It is lovely that we get to catch up with past couples at other weddings 🙂
Melanie started her day with a trip to MaCK Hair and Beauty in Rugby where she was having a little pampering with her bridesmaids. We then made our way back to her home where she put on her stunning Justin Alexander dress from Shop for Brides in Daventry.
Kev was with the guys. Iain had chosen Salters Menswear in Rugby for the suit hire and they all looked extremely smart.
Melanie arrived at St Marks Church in Bilton for the service (temporarily minus her shoes….that’s another story!) in a car from A&M Chauffeurs. Reverend Tim escorted her down the path and into the Church where Iain was waiting patiently. The beautiful flowers were from Stemsations.
After a lovely service the newly weds left to travel to Dodford Manor together. The sun was shining when we arrived so we managed to get all the photos that we needed before the wedding breakfast. We had a little bit of rain but it was all perfectly timed not to affect any of the day at all 🙂 Jenkinsons Caterers looked after the guests with a wonderful meal and then it was outside again for a stunning sunset. We seem to have had some luck this year with great skies as the sun goes down.
The evening got under way with the cutting of an amazing cake from Baked by Becky. Check out the pictures. It was adorable. We then had the first dance and music from Pure Rhythm Disco. Melanie and Iain had a fab day. Thanks to the staff of Dodford Manor and Jenkinsons who made sure it all ran smoothly (and also looked after us!).
