Don’t you just hate the British weather sometimes!! Unfortunately the weather really wasn’t being kind when Nichola and Frazer married at Draycote Hotel recently. It rained almost all day. That is one of the things you just cannot control. But it didn’t spoil a thing. Nichola and Frazer had every confidence in us when they chose us as their wedding photographer for Draycote Hotel. We are ready with additional lighting and brollies along with a van that can transport couples around the grounds of a venue when needed. 🙂
I began the day with Nichola and bridesmaids at the hotel where she was having her hair done by Susan Peters from Nuneaton. The ladies had already had beauty treatments in the lead up to the big day by Carys Powell. Nichola’s dress and the bridesmaids dresses were all from R&R Bridalwear in Nuneaton and the addition of flowers from Tulips were the finishing touch.
Kev was at Frazer’s best man’s home getting into suits from Formal Affair. They did manage some shots outside before the rain became just too heavy.
The ceremony was conducted by Julia from the Rugby Registry Office and she added her own bit of humour which meant the smiles and laughter started early. I have to say that smiles were definitely the order of the day especially when we were taking the formal group shots. We had some good fun! Once the room had been turned around by the wonderful Draycote staff it was back in for speeches. The room looked fab having chair covers and sashes from Rainbow Linen and some lovely blossom trees from Cards Galore who also provided the post box.
Gary from JLW got the dancing off to a good start with the first dance after the cutting of a rather lovely cake. Stephan, Anna and the team at the hotel were fantastic as always and everyone had a fab time. Enjoy a few of the photos from Nichola and Frazer’s wedding.
