It didn’t look like the weather was going to be kind for the wedding of Emma and Tom recently when we started the day. The forecast was rain and more rain. However we got the break we needed later in the day and managed to capture all aspects of this beautiful wedding.
Emma was having hair and make up done with her bridesmaids at her Dad’s home. Sheelagh Powell was hard at work with the make up brushes and did a fab job. Soccora Stokes gave Emma a beautiful hair style that totally suited her and the gorgeous dress designed by Nicola-Ann. Kev went to the couple’s home where Tom was getting ready. Suits were hired from the wonderful Slaters Menswear in Rugby. The couple were marrying at Hinckley Methodist Church. Flowers decorated the inside and these were put together by Jenny Lucas. Blue Ridge Videography were capturing the video of the day. Umbrellas were needed from the car, which was from Townsends, to get the ladies into Church but after a very personal service led by Minister Wes Hampton they were able to have a few photos on the steps outside and a great confetti throw was to follow.
It was then back to Ashton Lodge where Jo was waiting with drinks to welcome the couple. The marquee looked amazing with a fabulous theme. Fleurissimmo had helped the couple to bring their ideas to life. They were also responsible for the gorgeous bouquets. After a few photos the guests made their way into dinner. The Chopping Block were the caterers and as always the guests were more than happy. We had a bit of fun with the bridal party afterwards 🙂
The evening got into full flow after the first dance and we had our Photo Booth there to add to the entertainment.
We had a great day with the Emma and Tom and their family and friends and we would like to add our thanks to Jo and the team at Ashton Lodge for being great to work with as always. We hope you enjoy just a few of the photos from the day.
