Brownsover Hall Hotel in Rugby Warwickshire is a beautiful venue for a wedding. It has stunning grounds and also opportunities for indoor photographs if the weather isn’t kind. We didn’t need to worry about this for Sophie and Lloyd’s big day as the sun was shining! We met this lovely couple at a previous wedding where they were guests and then they came to see us at a wedding fayre to book us as their wedding photographers. So it was extra special as we met up with family members once again which is always a pleasure.

I began the day at the home of Sophie’s parents where Jaclyn from Timeless was busy styling hair beautifully and Candice Fuller Make Up Artist was working her magic as always. We had such a lovely morning with all the girls and Sophie’s parents. There was an emotional moment when her Dad saw her for the first time in her dress from ¬†Shop for Brides. It’s always a special moment. After a few photos with flowers from Jane Andrews Floral Design I left to join Kev at the hotel who had been photographing Lloyd and the guys, firstly at their home and then the hotel. They did look smart in their suits from Salters Menswear.

Sophie arrived in a gorgeous vintage car and she was met at the hotel by Julia and Alison from the Rugby Registry Office. The ceremony was very personal with an extra special reading from one of Sophie’s brothers. I really must try and get hold of it as it was lovely and had audience participation too! The sun continued to shine for the photos. We had a little fun with our selfie-shot which goes down well with everyone. Swing Museum were playing during this time. Lovely to hear live music at a wedding. We then whisked the couple off for a few shots of them alone. This is always a lovely time for them as they get to catch up on what each other has been doing up to the point of meeting at the end of the aisle.

The wedding breakfast was all set up in the Wine Glass and looked beautiful with stunning crystal centre pieces and linen by Rainbow Linen. Sophie’s Mum had also added to the floral displays.

We were lucky afterwards to catch a lovely sky including a bit of a sunset which always makes for a nice photo! It was then back in for the cutting of the cake by JJ’s which smelt absolutely delicious. The cake topper was fab and really captured the newly weds and was made by Peggie Lane.

Our Photo Booth added to the entertainment in the evening. Lots and lots of fun and lots of memories for the newlyweds. Check out just a few of the many photos we took on this special day. Thank you to the hotel for looking after us as always.
