Holly and Chris married at Draycote Hotel recently. They planned everything perfectly including the weather!
We met up with both of them at the Warwickshire venue to get some shots of each of them getting ready. Holly was with her bridesmaids and the Mums. Michelle from Mirror Image Beauty was on make up duty and Denise from Salon One was busy with the hair. Holly’s beautiful dress was from The Wedding Dress Outlet in Burbage. I have to mention how the bridesmaids looked as Holly had found them both really striking outfits with amazing small hats. The floral bouquets perfectly complemented the ladies too and these had been put together by Melissa Scott from Rugby Flower Delivery, who also played a part in how the Phoenix Suite looked for the ceremony and wedding breakfast.
Chris was with his groomsmen and the Dads relaxing before ceremony. He looked very smart in his suit from Greenwoods. Kev took them off for a few photos in the grounds of the hotel.
The ceremony was led by Julia from the Rugby Registry Office, always a pleasure to bump into her 🙂 Gary from JLW Sound and Lighting added a little bit of extra wow to the room with some uplighting as well as being the DJ later in the evening. Once the newly weds had walked back down the aisle we took them away on golf buggies to have some photos taken on the Golf Course with Draycote Water as a stunning backdrop, one of the many reasons people book their weddings at this popular venue. When we arrived back they were welcomed onto the balcony by their guests with bubbles from Halo FX.
The Phoenix Suite had been turned around for the wedding breakfast so once we had the group photos sorted everyone made their way back in and sat down to eat. Rainbow Linen was responsible for the chair covers, sashes and table stationary. After a very enjoyable meal the guests were able to relax before the evening entertainment got under way. The cut their cake which was extra special as Holly had made it herself. The first dance had been choreographed for the couple and had a little extra magic with dry ice from Halo FX.
