What a gloriously sunny day we had for the wedding of Gemma and Dan recently! When they booked us as their wedding photographers they could never have dreamed that the weather in March would have been so kind although the wind did present a few challenges on the day.
I met up with Gemma at Rock, Paper, Scissors Hair Salon to photograph her having her hair done along with the rest of the ladies of the bridal party. We then made our way back to her parents’ home where make up was done and she put on her beautiful wedding gown. The ladies all looked gorgeous. They were then transported to Allesley Church in one of the superb vintage cars from A&M Chauffeurs.
Kev was with Dan, the guys and parents before making his way to the pub! No he didn’t take some time off (I wouldn’t let him 😉 ), he was just following the men of the bridal party! Dan had used Black Tie for suits and looked very smart.
We were able to photograph from the back of the Church so managed to capture the beautiful service before the couple made their way out as husband and wife to be met by all their guests. Some confetti and a walk down the path was followed by the car journey to the Heart of England Conference Centre where they were going to be celebrating. The marquee looked beautiful with stunning flowers by Bloomingdales and very natural decoration. The cake was by Elite Cake Designs.
We managed to get some lovely shots of the couple down by the lake before they headed back for their wedding breakfast followed by the speeches. After this we took them out for a few more shots including doing some light painting which you may have seen us do before. Yes those photos were all taken in camera and not put together with PhotoShop!!
The evening kicked off with the Photo Booth from Gigglebooth and then lots of fun on the dance floor.
We hope you enjoy a few of the many photos from their special day. If you want to see more go to our galleries and pop in the password which you can obtain from the newlyweds! Congratulations to Gemma and Dan and a big thank you to all their family and friends for making us feel so welcome.
