We love returning to venues where we have photographed before but there is something really exciting about the first time at a venue and this wedding was no exception. Tiffany and Lewis booked us as their wedding photographers for their special day at Walton Hall almost two years before and the venue didn’t disappoint. Walton Hall is in South Warwickshire and is a stunning building surrounded by beautiful grounds and is as gorgeous inside too.
I began my day with Tiffany at the home of her parents where our good friend Candice Fuller was underway working her magic with the make up. Katy from Boutique by Katy was in control of the hair styles when I arrived. Tiff’s dress was from Serendipity in Weedon and was stunning. She really did make a beautiful bride. She was picked up by John of Married in Style in his lovely Beauford to be taken to Walton Hall. We never tire of photographing this car. John keeps it immaculate and is so accommodating in terms of capturing shots of couples with their car.
Kev went across to Lewis at his home where he was getting ready with his best men. Their suits had been hired from The Wedding Barn in Ufton.
When we arrived at the hotel we met up with Laura Nevitt who was videoing the day alongside us. The room where the couple were marrying looked gorgeous. Make My Day had supplied the chair coverings and they were lovely. Tiffany made her entrance with her bouquet from Orange Blossom and walked down the aisle to a very happy groom!
After the ceremony we went across to the other side of the lake with couple in their car and they had a bit of time together while we captured them with the backdrop of the hall. We then all made our way back to greet their guests (who had been enjoying ice-cream from Lee’s Ice Dreams) and take a few photos on the lawn. Our group selfie is becoming very popular now and makes for a great photo and adds a bit of fun.
When we got back into the hotel the room had been turned around into a very elegant dining room with floral arrangements provided by Lewis’ Auntie. There were some great speeches after the meal which provided a lot of laughter and yet more fun.
Our day finished with some creative shots in front of the hotel and on the beautiful stairway before heading home after the cutting of a beautiful cake from Hockleys Cakes and the first dance.
A big thank you to Tiffany and Lewis for being such a great couple to photograph and we wish them a very happy future together. Here are just a few of the photos from their day.
