What a delight it was to be asked to be the wedding photographers for the lovely Diana and John at Warwick House in Southam. We have photographed at this exclusive venue a number of times now and it is always a pleasure.
I started early with Diana at Mrs Smith’s in Southam where she was having hair and make up done. It was nice to see one of our future brides at work as Diana’s hairdresser has her wedding booked with us next year and she did a lovely elegant style for Diana which stayed put all day. Perfect! I then made my way to Warwick House where Kev was waiting for a few shots of John when he arrived. Diana had her gorgeous flower girls arriving to have their hair done. I took some shots of some of the detail of the wedding during this time including the flowers which had been put together by The Flower Shop in Southam.
Diana and John made the decision to meet up before the ceremony and walk down the aisle together. It was a lovely touch. Julia from Rugby Registrars was on hand to conduct the ceremony with Alison. We know the team very well now and Julia never lets us down. She led a beautiful ceremony which had some laughter included along the way.
After the ceremony it was out onto the terrace for a few drinks and photos. The children played a special part in the day so there were lots of candid relaxed shots of them playing with the cameras and bubbles that had been provided by the couple. The speeches followed the wedding breakfast and were very emotional and we then whisked the couple off for a few more photos indoors. The bridal suite at Warwick House is perfect for photos and we made full use of the arched windows including a stunning shot of Diana. She made a beautiful bride. The children had a bouncy castle to keep them occupied for a while!
The cake from The Cake Gallery was cut before the couple took to the dance floor for their first dance as newly weds. The children added to the effects by blowing their bubbles!!
Thank you to Lindsay for looking after us on the day and we wish Diana and John all the very best for their future together as husband and wife. Enjoy a selection of the photos from their special day.
