Another lovely sunny day and another lovely wedding at Draycote Hotel near Rugby, Warwickshire. We photograph here regularly and we are always looking for a few new shots each time we are there and the wedding of Melanie and Richard was no exception. It was an international affair with French and Chinese connections.
I met up with Melanie and her bridesmaids at her home where she was being pampered by Sarah Wilcox, an excellent make up artist who I have worked with a few times now and also the lovely Lucy Davidson who was sorting out the hair side of things beautifully. Kev was at Draycote with Richard and the guys who were getting ready there. He also bumped into Melissa from Rugby Flower Delivery who had done an amazing job with the flowers which were themed blue and yellow. She had also arranged the balloons which were released by all of the guests after the ceremony. The ceremony room looked beautiful with chair covers by Rainbow Linen continuing the colour scheme. Gary from JLW Sound and Lighting was also doing his magic with uplighting throughout the day.
We whisked the newly weds off for some photos once they had said their vows in a lovely ceremony conducted by our wonderful registrars in Rugby. It is lovely for the couple to have a bit of time on their own once married and they also have a little giggle in the golf buggy as Kev can always find the bumpiest routes on Whitefields Golf Course 🙂
While we were away the staff at Draycote were working hard turning the room around for the wedding breakfast and once again it looked amazing.
The evening entertainment was provided by Gary from JLW and he even included some French hits which Melanie was so delighted with. We stayed behind for a firework display from Halo FX….as always…aweseome!
A fab day with fab people at a fab venue! Thanks to Stephan, Anna and the wonderful staff at Draycote Hotel for giving Melanie and Richard a day they will never forget. Here are just a few of the photos from their special day.
