We know Dawn very well as she works on the reception at the business centre where we are based so we were really happy when Dawn and Steve chose us to photograph their wedding. It was a musical affair as both of them share a love for music and singing. We met up with Steve at Brinklow Church where we captured the guests arriving and managed to get some shots inside the Church prior to the service. Unfortunately we had another vicar who prohibits photography during the ceremony so we weren’t allowed to capture the special moments when Dawn and Steve said “I Do”. It is such a shame that we still come across this attitude in many Churches. Our cameras are so quiet, we avoid flash and we don’t move around! We always respect their wishes though! The service included singing by some of Rugby Philharmonic Choir. Dawn and Steve have close links with the choir.

Unfortunately when Dawn arrived the earlier blue sky had been replaced by rain so she was bundled up the path as quickly as possible so as to keep dry but she looked amazing in her dress which had been made by Fairy Godmother Paddy, who also made the bridesmaids dresses and the men’s waistcoats. Blue skies returned after the service so we were able to whisk them off in a car driven by Russ Ross to Caldecott Park in Rugby for some couple portraits before heading back to the Arnold House for their reception. The flowers throughout the wedding looked amazing and had been put together by the couple’s friends, Chris and Norman. The cake was made by Auntie Margaret! The evening finished with some country dancing and a great time was had by all.

Here are just a few of the pictures from their special day.
